Then once bids were turned in, you were asked for changes to the materials, time frame or price.
And told that if you can ‘adjust’ your price some, you have a real chance to win the job.
So you say yes.
Then the project timeline is shortened.
But now you’ve got people working on the project – so you say yes again.
Has this ever happened to you? Congrats, you’ve attracted a low margin, high-maintenance client. And it’s your fault.
