How many times have you bought from someone you just didn’t like?
That you knew, not matter what they’re telling you, that you can’t trust what they say.
So if you want to get elected or add new sales to your top line – be likable and convince me I can trust you.
Is getting elected about you buying my ideas and vision of things?
The best way to answer this is to say “yes and”.
In other words, if I like you and trust you and your vision lines up with mine, you’re a contender for my vote.
How does that compare to selling products and services?
Once you’re talking to someone who’s interested in what you do, you’ll need to lay out the benefits of buying from you. Your vision of how it will work out for them.
If your small business advice matches the hopes and dreams of the buyer – cha-ching… you can make the sale.
