In hindsight, you can see clearly and I now realize that had I been more open to training, more open to mentoring – I would have benefitted greatly.
Regrets?
Yes.
But, like you, I’ve got an excuse. I tend to be busy. I tend to put things off. I tend to wish things were different or better, but actions to lead me there are missing.
And before you know it, 9 years go by.
What I got in 90 minutes yesterday by being willing to let Michael and Glenn research my industry, look at my site and show me ways to take things up a notch cannot be quantified easily.
Rather than focus on me, let’s talk about how you can benefit from my sad tale of regret. I write to you daily about one aspect of online marketing or another, right?
So take a look at where you were in your Internet lead generation, say, 3 years ago.
Compare that to where you are today.
Is there a significant difference in your results? Because online marketing is here to stay. Using the Internet to promote your business and attract customers isn’t going to go away.
With your self-inspection done, it’s possible you have regrets that you haven’t done more to improve your results.
Perhaps you tried; maybe you hired someone but they failed you.
But someone failing you does not mean you failed. Unless you quit. Thomas Edison found 10,000 ways that the mono-filament light bulb would not work. Until one day – it did.
